I was the first victim, building a fence in Bartlett when I failed to dodge a stealthy landmine. My wife's misadventure occurred just a few days later at her sister's house in Midtown. We laughed it off, thinking the universe was just having a little fun at our expense. But the universe had one more trick up its sleeve.
On a romantic evening stroll through Shelby Farms Park, I felt the familiar squelch beneath my shoe. My wife's eyes widened in amusement, and I could sense our lovely evening on the brink of disaster. That's when it hit me – a brilliant idea to combat the most annoying part of dog ownership: picking up dog poop! Why not start a dog waste removal company to save fellow Memphians from the same crappy fate? And just like that, Scoop You Up was born.
